Bobara, wall

Two small islands lie about 2 nm from Cavtat. One of them is Bobara and it is a very interesting diving site.

Diving tips

The site is reached by boat from Cavtat. Boats anchor in the shallows (3-5 m), in the middle of the island by the undersea pass, which reaches a depth of 15 m with a cave to the right of it, wide enough for five divers to enter at one time. Beyond that lies a crag, whose southern and western sides drop to 80 m. After exploring it, divers return to the cave.

Marine life

This site abounds in two-banded sea bream, octopi, swallowtail seaperches and moray eels.
