Feather star (Antedon mediterranea)

The Lonjica site lies beneath the town of Brseč. Pt. Lonjica is reached by boat and anchoring is at 7 m in a small cove before the point. The wall descent is suitable for all categories of divers.

Diving tips

Behind the point, the slope drops to 20 m and then vertically to 30 m. A second wall runs parallel to the first beyond the point at a depth of 38-47 m and abounds in red and yellow gorgonians. The walls meet and are home to scorpionfish, forkbeards, red mullets, oysters, and schools of damselfish. Ascent is along the anchoring line.
